1956 Triumph T110 Tiger
Inspired by an old magazine cutting the brief was simply “I want a cool old Triumph bobber that looks like it could have been around in the late fifties. It must sound good to!” Decades ago, it was a teenagers daily transport until the day he passed his driving test and the bike got leant up against the garage…… outside! There it remained until many years later it got dragged inside and hung up. After an intensive cleaning and cataloguing of all the parts that came with it, work began. A hand crafted hard tail lowers it 2” and stretches it 3”, the frame then got the mandatory blasting and powder coating. The engine was rebuilt completely from the sludge trap to the rockers with the addition of T120 spec cams. Freshly rebuilt wheels again, the rear mudguard crafted from an old 'front' and the original fuel tank retained. Biltwell Tracker bars grace the front end, with the original chronometric speedo mounted nearer the middle of the bike. The wrapped stainless pipes guarantee nobody can claim they didn’t hear it coming.
